Two Things Most People Get Wrong About Blinds
The first is slat width. Wider 2-inch slats give a better view-through when open and stay easier to dust; narrower 1-inch slats read as more refined on smaller windows. The right width depends on the window’s proportions, not just taste. The second is mount type: an inside mount sits flush with your trim and looks cleaner, but it only works if the window casing is deep enough to clear the headrail and brackets. We check casing depth during your in-home measurement — not after the blind shows up too big for the frame.
